GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — How do you reinvent a classic Broadway musical?
Many know and love the classic musical “42nd Street,” and this summer the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul is reinventing it for a new generation.
Astaire Award-winning dancer and choreographer Jared Grimes joined KARE 11 to discuss the show’s electrifying tap dancing and how the show celebrates the show-biz glamour of the original production.
The Ordway’s production of “42nd Street” runs July 23 through August 11, and tickets can be purchased at ordway.org/42nd-street.
