A body recovered in Anoka County's Lake George has been identified as a 53-year-old man from Oak Grove, Minnesota.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says crews recovered a man's body in a lake at about 1 p.m. Sunday in Oak Grove. Deputies had been searching for the man after he was reported missing in Lake George.
The sheriff's office says it got a report around noon Saturday of a man who was drowning at the lake. A 53-year-old Oak Grove man had removed his life jacket and was swimming near a boat when he began to struggle and went under.
On Monday, the sheriff's office identified the man as 53-year-old Scott Randolph-Stephen Fox of Oak Grove. The sheriff's office is still investigating.
