Closs home burglary suspect appears in court

Kyle Jaenke-Annis of Cameron was arrested in late October after investigators say he admitted to going into the Closs home without permission and stole multiple items including clothing and underwear that belongs to missing 13-year-old Jayme Closs.

BARRON, Wis. - The man arrested for breaking into the Closs family home made his initial appearance in Barron County Court Wednesday.

Kyle Jaenke-Annis of Cameron was arrested in late October after investigators say he admitted to going into the Closs home without permission and stole multiple items including clothing and underwear that belongs to missing 13-year-old Jayme Closs.

The 32-year-old Jaenke-Annis is charged with burglary and bail jumping. He's scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing later this month.

Barron county sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said there are no new updates on Jayme's disappearance or her parents' deaths, but says investigators are still working hard on the case and following up on any possible leads.

He asked that people still call the tip line with any information on the case.
