HUDSON, Wisc. - The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) warned motorists Thursday to expect "severe delays" on eastbound Interstate 94 after a semi-truck caught on fire on an eastbound lane near the Minnesota-Wisconsin border.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. Thursday but for several hours traffic was backed up for miles.
Eastbound I-94 was reduced to one lane.
WisDOT says the crash scene was cleared just before 10 p.m. Thursday.
No injuries were reported.
