MINNEAPOLIS — A man was shot dead in a north Minneapolis alley Saturday night.
Officers responded to a report of numerous shots fired in an alley around 10:05 p.m. Saturday in the 3600 block between Penn and Queen Avenue North.
Officers arrived in the alley and found a man, shot and wounded.
The victim was identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner as 31-year-old Donzel Dwein Bell.
Bell was rushed to North Memorial Health Hospital where he died a short time later.
The Medical Examiner said the cause of death is the multiple gunshot wounds and the manner of death is homicide.
No arrests have been made.
Police spoke with several people who may have seen or heard something.
