The Minneapolis Fire Department knocked down a fire at a Grain Exchange building Wednesday night.
The fire was on the first floor in one of the three Grain Exchange buildings, located at 400 S. 4th St.
Fire crews entered the building shortly after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Fire officiials say several floors were evacuated and crews quickly extinguished the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
