SHAKOPEE, Minn. — The Scott County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man's body was pulled from the Minnesota River Tuesday night.
Deputies responded after a 911 call just before 8 p.m. and located the body of an adult male near the Lewis Street Bridge, just a few feet off shore.
At this time foul play is not suspected, but investigators from the sheriff's office, Shakopee police and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office are looking into that matter.
The identity of the man and his cause of death will be released following a complete autopsy.
