Cars damaged after screws, nails thrown on roads in Sherburne Co.

The Big Lake Police Chief is mad... and he wants the person or persons responsible for some costly vandalism in his community and others across Sherburne County to know it. Chief Joel Scharf posted on Facebook Tuesday, informing residents that someone has been throwing nails and screws onto the driving lanes of streets and highways in Big Lake, Zimmerman, Orrack, and on rural Sherburne County Roadways. Scharf says a number of vehicles have been damaged, including one of Big Lake's squad cars.
