Slice of the Twin Cities

Slice fanatics will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of pizza, charcuterie and desserts, while enjoying live music, outdoor games for kids and adults, and more.

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. - Take a predicted perfect fall day, and toss in some top-notch pizza and you've got the recipe for an outstanding outing called 'Slice of the Twin Cities'.

Set for this Sunday, October 21 and sponsored by Minnesota Monthly, the third-annual event will take place at Earl Brown Heritage Center from 1 - 5 p.m. Slice hounds will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of pizza, charcuterie and desserts, while enjoying live music, outdoor games for kids and adults, and more.

Additionally, the participating pizzerias compete to be named the best by Jason DeRusha and Mary Subialka, Minnesota Monthly’s resident culinary experts.Tickets are $25 in advance for those above the age of 21, and $30 at the door. Ages 11 through 20 pay $10 for a ticket, while kids 10 and under are free.

Adult tickets include 2 choices of pizza from any of the pizzerias, 2 beverages, and additional tastings from participating tables. Tickets for ages 11-20 include 1 choice of pizza from any of the pizzerias, 1 beverage, and additional tastings from participating tables. Additional pizza and beverages are available for purchase.
