ST PAUL, Minn — A police chase ended in a crash that caused a major backup on I-35E and Larpenteur Avenue Sunday night.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Department says the pursuit started in Little Canada, after a man violated a no contact order and fled in a vehicle.
The suspect hit multiple vehicles on I-35E near Maryland Avenue, officials said. Some people were taken to Regions Hospital but deputies do not believe any of the injuries are life-threatening.
The suspect was also brought to the hospital and is now in custody.
