GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The midterm elections in Minnesota are only a few weeks away and feature hotly contested battles for Minnesota governor, attorney general, house, senate and other local races.
KARE 11 is looking for a few Minnesota voters from all political stripes, ages and parts of the state to be on our voter panel. Our panel would come to the KARE 11 studio and watch the results for the midterm elections on Tuesday November 6. The voter panel would speak with each other and a moderator live on KARE 11's Facebook page and other social platforms throughout the evening and share reactions, thoughts and opinions.
A few members of the panel would also be interviewed for a story that will air on KARE 11 News at 10 p.m.
If you are interested in participating in the voter panel email voter@kare11.com with a written statement of 500 words or less about your political views. Email us by October 26. Your email should answer the following questions:
- What's your party? Or why don't you relate to the existing party system?
- What city or county do you live in?
- Age range? 18-30, 31-45, 45-60, 60+
- Are you married? Do you have any children?
- What are the most important issues to you in the midterm elections?
- How involved are you in politics? Have you worked for a candidate or political organization?
