Portion of I-35W closed for pothole repair

You may need to rearrange your route.

MINNEAPOLIS — Many of us have been noticing potholes in our roads now that the snow is melting.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is continuing its work to repair those potholes on I-35W on Wednesday.

Construction crews will be working to fill potholes on I-35 Northbound starting at 10 a.m. and running until 2 p.m. The interstate will be reduced to one lane from 42nd Street to I-94 during this time.

I-35W will be closed in both directions between I-94 and Highway 62 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week.

If you were going to take this route and you need a detour, use I-94, I-394, Highway 100 and Highway 62.
