Possible medical breakthrough for those living with ALS

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved Radicava to treat patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

MINNEAPOLIS - Every year doctors diagnose anywhere between 5,000 to 6,000 Americans with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Radicava is the first new drug for ALS in 22 years to become available in the United States.
