GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The Minnesota State Patrol has been responding to hundreds of crashes and spinouts as winter has returned with a vengeance over the weekend.
The state patrol reports that statewide, from 12:01 a.m. on Friday to 8:45 p.m. Sunday, they responded to 630 crashes. Sixty-nine of the crashes involved injuries, three involved serious injuries, and two were fatal injuries.
The state patrol also responded to 1,182 vehicles spun out or off the road, and 20 jackknifed semis.
