Students head back to school across the metro

The routine has started again for students across the metro as a majority of districts started school on Tuesday.

For most of the metro, the day after Labor Day means the start of a new school year.

A majority of school districts, including St. Paul Public Schools and the Anoka-Hennepin School District, will start classes Tuesday.

In Maplewood, Governor Dayton plans to welcome students back to Carver Elementary along with other state legislators.
