Target Field 'indefinitely suspends' sale of Papa John's pizza

The Twins says they have "indefinitely suspended" their activation with Papa John's.

MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Twins have "indefinitely suspended" sales of Papa John's pizza from their activation at Target Field, according to a team spokesman.

Earlier this week, Papa John's founder John Schnatter, who already resigned as CEO over a series of PR blunders, announced he was stepping down as chairman of the board after allegedly using a racial slur during a conference call.

Dustin Morse, senior director of communications for the Twins, says there continues to be other pizza options available at Target Field including Pizza Luce, Minnie & Paul's and inside the Delta SKY360 Club.
