MINNESOTA, USA — Enjoy our beautiful evening with summer like temperatures and dropping humidity under clear skies. It will be fantastic weather for any outdoor activities.
Temperatures will end up a little cooler on Sunday behind our latest cold front, but the lower humidity will keep it feeling quite comfortable.
The clouds will be building in from the southwest early in the day with a chance of spotty evening showers; thunderstorms are expected to hold off until the late night and overnight hours.
Our next storm system will be arriving from the southwest Sunday afternoon bringing a chance for showers and thunderstorms to the area; the Twin Cities is likely to see storms hitting in the evening hours and continuing overnight into Monday morning.
While the storms may not be widespread, those communities that find themselves under a downpour will end up with some impressive rainfall totals.
Not to worry if you miss our on the overnight rain, there is another rain maker headed our way for Tuesday that is expected to bring more widespread showers to the region. It also looks as though the severe weather threat will remain to our southwest on Sunday and southeast heading into Monday morning.
Another round of scattered showers is showing up in the forecast models for next Friday evening into Saturday morning.
Temperatures cool slightly through the weekend but remain well above average through Monday. Tuesday brings cooler weather with a stretch of below-average temperatures to close out the work week.
