WEATHER: Breezy and dry first day of May

After a dry day today, showers move back in Thursday morning.

MINNESOTA, USA — Rain wrapped up early this morning after dumping another half inch or more across the area yesterday. A few spots in southern Minnesota saw well over an inch where they picked up stronger storms last night.

May Day brings a break in the rain. Expect increasing sunshine, and breezy west winds up to 20 mph. Highs will range from the low to mid 60s.

Another rainy day is expected on Thursday. This time, thunderstorms are not expected and it looks like a fairly steady rain throughout the day. Accumulations will range from .25 to .5 inch before exiting Thursday evening.

Friday is looking pleasant with highs pushing into the upper 60s as we dry out again. Smaller rain chances will be possible Saturday morning before drying out on Sunday. Based on this forecast, rain chances return about every other day.
