Alexis is an Edward R. Murrow and multi-Emmy award-winning storyteller. She comes to the Twin Cities from Indianapolis where she was an Evening Anchor and co-host of a hybrid news and lifestyle show called All Indiana at WISH-TV. She began her broadcasting career as an anchor and reporter at KOMU, in Columbia, Missouri.
She has also reported for KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas and WLWT in Cincinnati, where she also helped create and anchored a news magazine show – Let’s Talk Cincy.
Born and raised in the Chicago area, Alexis is a graduate of the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism, a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, and the National Association of Black Journalists. She is also the founder of Lisa’s Girls, a life skills and leadership community for BIPOC girls and women. Alexis is married to KARE 11 Sports Director Reggie Wilson. She is definitely a foodie.
They love supporting local businesses and exploring the food and music scene and taking walks with their sassy dog Izzie G.
