David Griswold is the Senior Digital Content Producer at KARE 11 in Minneapolis.
He began his career working as a sports reporter for the Marshall Independent in Marshall, Minnesota. He stepped into the role of being the publication’s Sports Editor in the fall of 2008, where he helped provide extensive coverage of local high school athletics and Division II Southwest Minnesota State University. From there he became a sports reporter for the Jamestown Sun in Jamestown, North Dakota before taking on the same role at the La Crosse Tribune in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
David joined KARE 11 back in 2017 as an Assignment Editor before shifting over to the digital team in 2019.
He received a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
