I graduated from St. Cloud State in Minnesota with my bachelor’s in Meteorology. I started my career in Duluth, where I was the morning meteorologist doing weather across the street from fellow KARE 11 meteorologist Ben Dery.
I learned most of my severe weather coverage in Springfield, Missouri, where I was the morning meteorologist at KOLR 10. My first move to nights was the jump to Chief Meteorologist in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Most recently I was the chief meteorologist at WKOW in Madison, Wisconsin. I went to school at Champlin Park High and pretty much bleed everything Minnesota. On the weekend you can catch me fishing for crappies or golfing. But most of the time I just like a cigar and scotch chilling on the porch.
