Raya joined KARE in October of 2024 and feels honored to work alongside the best journalists her my home state.
Raya immigrated with her family to St. Paul from the country of Jordan when she was 5 years old and grew up near the Como Park neighborhood.
Raya is looking forward to rediscovering the Twin Cities as a journalist, sharing impactful stories that uplift historically marginalized voices and being among family and friends.
