Adam Driver is giving new details about his baby girl.
In a conversation on Wednesday's episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, the 40-year-old actor shared some heartwarming and humorous details about his experience as a father to his recently born daughter.
The Ferrari star revealed that juggling a newborn with his busy schedule can be challenging but filled with moments of joy.
Host Kelly Ripa wasted no time diving into the topic, asking Driver about his baby girl. The actor, who welcomed his second child with wife Joanne Tucker, happily shared, "She's eight months."
Ripa, expressing her excitement, commented, "How nice! That must've been like a Santa's wish, I guess."
Driver chuckled in agreement, saying, "Yeah, yeah. I have an older son who is six, and now she's eight months. You kind of forget how much babies kinda suck."
Mark Consuelos, Ripa's co-host and husband, joined the conversation, inquiring about Driver's sleep since the arrival of the newborn. The actor admitted, "Not a lot, not a lot, not a lot. But I'm remembering this time that I have to enjoy it more."
Reflecting on his parenting journey, Driver explained that with his first child, a son, he was anxious for him to develop and communicate. However, this time around, he is trying to be more patient and savor the moments. "I'm trying to enjoy it more," he said.
When asked about the difference between raising a son and a daughter, Driver humorously shared, "I'm having better luck this time because my daughter likes me more. With my son, he didn't want anything to do with me for the first three years."
The actor reportedly announced the recent baby news during a dress rehearsal for his Saturday Night Live hosting stint. "Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting," Driver joked during the rehearsal. "So this year, I wish for Ambien!"
This isn't the first time Driver has revealed significant personal news on Saturday Night Live. In 2020, he used his opening monologue to announce his status as a husband and father. "I'm a husband and a father. It's in that order though. I've been very clear with my son about that, he's second in everything," he humorously declared, bringing laughter to the audience.
