Like many of her fans, Betty White "can't believe" she's celebrating her 95th birthday.
"I keep thinking, 'Betty, you're 95 years old,'" she told Yahoo's Katie Couric in an interview posted on Tuesday. "I'm so blessed with good health and faculties and I've got memories and all that. You can't really expect that at 95."
White quipped, "I am the luckiest old broad on two feet!"
The Emmy-winning actress offered up advice for living a fulfilled life, telling Couric, "Keep busy and don't focus everything on you."
As for what she would tell her 25-year-old self, White didn't have any specific wisdom to impart. "I've been married three times and I probably still would've been married three times," she said. White married and divorced Dick Barker and Lane Allen in the 1940s, before marrying Allen Ludden in 1963. They were together for 18 years until his death in 1981.
When asked if she'd ever considered remarrying after Ludden's death, White joked, "Remarry, no. Fool around, sure."
White is perhaps best known for her role as Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls, and if given the chance, she'd happily reprise the beloved character. "I'd want to do it," she said of starring in a possible Golden Girls reboot, adding sarcastically, "I'm sure at 95, I'm sure they'd want me."
Prior to the sitcom airing in 1985, White was considered for the role of Blanche Devereaux but changed her mind when the part of Rose came up. "I loved her because she was so innocent," the actress said of her character. "Not the brightest nickel in the drawer, but she was fun to do."
ET was with White back when she turned 93, and the actress expressed her gratitude for still getting work well into her 90s. "Can you imagine being blessed at this age with still working at the career you love the best?" she gushed. "By now they should be saying, 'Yes, honey, you just stay in the rocker.'"
"You just don't expect that," White said of still working. "You think you'll fade off into the sunset. Well, the sun sets every night, but I just won't go away."
