New music is on the way posthumously from Christina Grimmie.
The singer, who was tragically shot and killed in June during a fan meet-and-greet following her concert in Orlando, Florida, had apparently filmed four music videos earlier this year that have yet to be released. On Monday, Team Grimmie posted an update about the project, titled The Ballad of Jessica Blue, to her verified Twitter account.
"The story follows Jessica Blue through the songs 'Snow White,' 'Anybody's You,' 'Deception,' and 'Without Him' on her journey to find her voice and her path in life only to find out they are on in the same," the update reads.
"Christina shot these videos back in February with about six hours of choreography and four days of filming before she left for the WildFire tour," it continues. "Everyone worked so hard on this project, putting in extra-long days on set to ensure we got the best quality project we could for the minimal budget we had. I couldn't be more proud of her and everyone involved for the labor of love that was put into this project."
The videos are set to be released throughout the month of August, with Grimmie's team asking fans to tweet #ChristinaGrimmie as they watch.
"The decision to release these videos was a collective decision made by her family and team," a rep for the late singer tells ET. "She put a lot of passion and hard work into these videos and we felt that her fans (and Christina) deserved to see the end product that was due to release shortly after she returned home from tour."
News of the Jessica Blue project comes days after an official autopsy ruled Grimmie's death a homicide.
The report done by Chief Medical Examiner Joshua D. Stephany states, "In consideration of the circumstances surrounding the death, and after examination of the body, toxicology analysis, and review of the available medical records. It is my opinion that the death of Christina Grimmie, a 22-year-old white female witnessed to have been shot by another and subsequently transported to the hospital, is the result of a gunshot wounds of the head and chest. The manner of death is homicide."
The autopsy also states that Grimmie's brother, Marcus, was there at the time of shooting and identified his sister's body.
