Natalie Maines has a bone to pick with country music.
The 41-year-old Dixie Chicks singer called out country radio for supporting Donald Trump, after his speech in North Carolina on Tuesday was interpreted as inciting supporters to shoot Hillary Clinton.
Though Trump denied that he was encouraging violence, Maines took to Twitter to blast those she called "hypocrites" who boycotted the Dixie Chicks following her comments criticizing President George W. Bush in 2003.
"I get banned for not liking Bush and now Trump can practically put a hit out on Hillary and he's all over country radio! Hypocrites!" Maines tweeted on Wednesday.
I get banned for not liking Bush and now Trump can practically put a hit out on Hillary and he's still all over country radio! Hypocrites!

The Dixie Chicks have since bounced back from the backlash after Maines told a London crowd she was "ashamed that the President of the United States was from Texas." But that doesn't mean she's over it.
Maines' post was retweeted nearly 17,000 times, although not everybody agreed with her viewpoint.
"Stop falling for the nonsense," wrote one fan. "He didn't put a hit out. He made a stupid joke."
"I said 'practically,'" Maines noted, adding, "But the fact that we have this misunderstanding just can't be! Even I know better!"
@RichardMY2 I said practically. But the fact that we have this misunderstanding just can't be! Even I know better!

Maines isn't scared to share her political opinion (even if it rocks the boat with country music fans), and she's not the only celebrity speaking out against Trump.
