Sharon Stone is nearing 60, and seemingly feeling sexier than ever.
"I think that people are just astounded that you could be pushing 60 and still be OK," she jokes with ET at the Associates for Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies' annual Mother's Day Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Wednesday.
The star will turn the big 6-0 in 2018, and says she has no plans to stop posting bikini pics.
"My friend took this picture of me getting out of the pool in my bikini, where my hair was all messed up," she recalls. "And it kind of went crazy."
"I mean, I've always been a jock," Stone notes. "I'm naturally kind of skinny, and I think that people are just amazed that, you know, you don't have to fall apart. But you don't!"
"I think that I am lucky that I prefer to eat healthy," she adds. "I listen to my body, and I like sports ... I think that it's the better way to live. And so, that's it! I just think that a healthy body, mind and spirit is the way to go. And I think that, so you end up being able to wear a bathing suit is like one of the bonuses I guess."
For those who look up to the 59-year-old for body confidence inspiration, her advice is pretty simple.
"I like to feel comfortable in my own body," she shares. "And I think when you start to feel discomfort in your body, you should probably listen to that."
The actress has battled her own health issues, which has only made her more in tune with her body. That's also why it was important for her to step out for Wednesday's event, which raised money for cancer research.
"I think that we just have to stand up as mothers, and daughters and sisters, and put our foot down," Stone says. "It's time we used the impact of ... our voice to say that we are not going to let our mothers, sisters and daughters be damaged and die of breast cancer."
