Wildcats, time to getcha head in the game for some Bad Lip Reading hilarity!
By popular demand, High School Musical is getting the Bad Lip Reading treatment, from the same YouTube star who has hilariously parodied the NFL, political debates, and movie trailers alike, and puts a hilarious new spin on the 2006 Disney classic.
The first clip showcases the first three minutes of the movie, where Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) are plucked out of a crowd to sing New Year's Eve karaoke. (It's totally a thing, don't worry about it.)
"And the spotlight randomly falls on this dude!" proclaims the announcer, who just "ate a peanut," as Troy goes deer-in-headlights when summoned to sing karaoke. "And also on this girl who reads with her fingers in the middle of a party!"
After "Chorky" and "Lumpkinella" sing their duet, they head out to the balcony for an awkwardly-hilarious conversation about farts and firemen.
"When Lumpkinella laughed, it felt like fireworks were going off," the BLR narrator says over Troy and Gabriella's banter. "Also, fireworks were going off."
A second clip puts the BLR spin on one of HSM's most iconic musical numbers, "Stick to the Status Quo" -- only this time around, Martha Cox's secret passion isn't hip-hop, it's burping.
"Let's go bang on furniture," the high school ensemble "sings" in the choreographed number, which you'll never watch the same way again. "Then for no reason, everybody's gonna walk around the tables."
