Kesha's career may be on hold as she continues to fight against Sony and producer Dr. Luke, but the pop star gave fans new hope on Wednesday in an Instagram selfie.
Posting the photo of herself with aqua blue hair, she wrote, "been writing all day makes me feel like," with several high heel, kisses, lipstick and nail polish emojis.
The singer is currently embroiled in a headline-making court case. On Monday her lawyers filed an appeal in an attempt to overturn the court's February decision to deny the singer an injunction on her recording contract.

Kesha, who claims that producer Dr. Luke has drugged and sexually assaulted her, has been trying to get out of her contract to avoid working with him in the future.
"Although it recognized that 'slavery was done away with a long time ago' and that 'you can't force someone to work . . . in a situation in which they don't want to work,' the Court's ruling requiring Kesha to work for Gottwald's companies, purportedly without his involvement, does just that," Kesha's lawyer Mark Geragos said in a statement obtained by ET. "As the Court itself recognized, 'It's slavery. You can't do that.'"
Though she is seemingly not recording music at this time, Kesha is putting her talents elsewhere, with two planned TV appearances scheduled. The singer will be featured in A&E's The Haunting Ofβ¦, where she will return to the Texas B&B where she allegedly encountered "a paranormal apparition." She will also appear in the March 31 episode of Project Runway All Stars.
