The couple got engaged last October after meeting on the set of the movie Sex Ed, which he wrote and she appeared in. Abby previously told The Knot that her new husband was very involved in planning their big day.
"Yeah, he is very helpful. He's got good taste," she said. "We're both Catholic, so we are going to be having a Catholic ceremony in a church…The same church I had my first communion at, so we are both excited about that. Our parents are happy."

The former Saturday Night Live star wore a gown by Leanne Marshall and she said one of the reasons she picked it was because, "You feel like it's a cathedral like Julie Andrews in Sound of Music."
"I love it. It's not something I would have been drawn to right away, but after trying it on it just felt right," she revealed of her process. "I went multiple times, and I went to different places. I went with friends; I went alone. I just definitely wanted to see what I would pick out by myself, and this was the dress I picked out by myself."
