No woman had ever completed Stage 1 in the national finals of American Ninja Warrior until now!
Hollywood stuntwoman Jessie Graff, 32, dominated the treacherous course, leaving viewers slack jawed on Monday, when she safely triumphed over every obstacle with 12 seconds left to spare.
After confidently navigating her way through the Log Grip, Propeller Bar, Jumping Spiker and Warped Wall in Las Vegas on Monday, Graff found herself in the American Ninja Warrior history books as the first woman to ever do so.
Graff, who has done stunts on Supergirl, donned a Green Lantern outfit for the occasion, which seemed appropriate given the superhero-like way she took to the Mount Midoriyama course.
The former college pole vaulter even impressed the announcers when she came in fourth of the eight finishers in the first week of Stage 1.
"She's a stuntwoman on Supergirl, but she's the one who's flying tonight!" host Matt Iseman said.
