GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- This fall, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is presenting "Scarecrow Village," an outdoor display of whimsical, handmade scarecrows.

The public is invited to create their own scarecrows during "Make a Scarecrow" days on Saturday, September 19 and Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Arboretum will provide a stick frame, a scarecrow head and straw; and for a $10 (per scarecrow fee), anyone can stop by the Arboretum picnic shelter on the designated day and make their own scarecrow.
