Alabama is final State Fair Grandstand headliner

ST. PAUL, Minn. - A familiar act will fill the final Grandstand headliner spot at the 2016 Minnesota State Fair.

Alabama will make its 19th appearance at the Great Minnesota Get-Together, playing the Grandstand on Thursday, September 1. Levon will open the show. Tickets are $50 and $40 for reserved seating; They go on sale this Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m. through Etix at etix.com or by calling (800) 514-3849. They may also be purchased at the State Fairgrounds Ticket Office.

Alabama has made more Minnesota State Fair Grandstand appearances than any other group or performer, but have not played the fair in 15 years.

Here is the final Grandstand lineup for 2016.
