FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. — The KARE 11 crew is heading back to the big red barn at the Minnesota State Fair in 2023!
There's plenty to see and do at the KARE Barn once again, from watching live newscasts to picking up a free souvenir.
WHAT'S HAPPENING
- Daily giveaway: Stop by each day at 10 a.m. as we give out souvenir water bottles at the big window outside the barn, sponsored by Window Concepts.
- Fair Questions (NEW!): Participate in a live trivia contest on your smartphone for a chance to win a prize! Join Sunrise anchors Alicia Lewis, Jason Hackett and John Zeigler weekday mornings in the KARE Barn at 10:30 a.m.
- Free water: Fill a cup or top off your own water bottles and cool down with free water inside the barn.
- KARE 11 Penny Press (NEW DESIGNS!): Take home a souvenir (or four!) with four new designs in the KARE 11 Penny Press this year.
- Live at the KARE Barn: Local bands take the mic with free concerts Thursdays-Sundays at 2 p.m. on the Window Concepts Music Stage inside the KARE Barn.
- Vikings Extra Football Toss: Take home a souvenir football with a successful toss!
- Weatherguide Calendars: The Freshwater Society is back at the big window selling 2024 WeatherGuide calendars. Watch KARE 11 Sunrise for the word of the day to get a discount.
- Weather Warn Wall: Pretend to be a KARE 11 meteorologist at the green screen or snap a souvenir photo with a beautiful view at Window Concepts' French doors.

The KARE Barn is located on Nelson St., near the corner of Judson Ave., across from the DNR building. The Health Fair 11 building is a short walk away, at the corner of Dan Patch Ave. and Cooper St.
