There are two things visitors are advised to bring when attending the Minnesota State Fair.
A voracious appetite, and a full wallet.
While the Great Minnesota Get-Together can involve a major late-summer spending spree, there are also plenty of things to do that cost nothing at all. On Monday, fair organizers unveiled the 2024 free entertainment schedule, which includes more than 900 shows that will unfold on stages across the grounds at Falcon Heights.
Here are some of the highlights.

Along with the main entertainment stages are venues across the grounds, featuring acts like the All-Star Dogs Splash, Timberworks Lumberjack Show, Arts A 'Fair (pop-up dance, theater and music showcases), and the daily State Fair Parade with floats, marching bands and more.
