MINNEAPOLIS — The Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon is one of the largest, and arguably the most beautiful of urban marathons in the country. Why else would more than 30,000 people show up to take part?

The 2019 edition of this amazing event is less than a month away, and over 4,000 volunteers are needed to help things go off without a hitch.

Volunteers are needed to work in a variety of roles in many areas including:

  • Health & Fitness Expo, October 4-5
  • Saturday Events, October 5
  • Sunday Start Line, October 6
  • Sunday Course Marshal, October 6
  • Sunday Finish Line, October 6
  • Many, many more!

Most volunteers get a t-shirt, and some positions have access to breakfast or lunch. Marathon organizers are also able to provide donations to non-profit volunteer groups on a first-come, first-serve basis.
