GLOW Holiday Festival returns to CHS Field

Visitors to the walk-through event will see millions of twinkling lights, sculptures, illuminated vignettes and activities like a giant snow slide and zip line.

ST PAUL, Minn. — A bit of snow and a serious dip in the mercury provide the perfect backdrop for the return of the GLOW Holiday Festival to CHS Field in St. Paul.

Starting tonight, Thursday, Nov. 21 through Jan. 5, visitors to this walk-through event will encounter millions of twinkling lights, whimsical sculptures and festive activities like a giant slide, zip line, and the sElfie Plaza photo backdrop. Here are a few of the highlights.

GLOW Spectacular - A dazzling light and music show set to holiday tunes repeats every 20 minutes. Watch the entire stadium light up in a synchronized dance of color and sound.

Tremendous Tree – At the heart of GLOW stands a 60-foot programmable tree, lighting up the night sky with an ever-changing display of holiday colors. The Tremendous Tree serves as the centerpiece for the GLOW Spectacular.

Giant Snowy Slide – Thrill-seekers can zoom down a massive 120-foot snowy slide while enjoying sweeping views of the illuminated St. Paul cityscape.

Vixen’s Zip Line – Guests experience a seasonal thrill as they soar high above the display of millions of lights. Two people can simultaneously glide along two separate 300-foot lines suspended 34 feet in the air above CHS's outfield.

Penguin Playground  – The ultimate winter playground for children and teens, featuring light-up seesaws, swings and climbing structures.

This is the 5th anniversary of GLOW coming to the Twin Cities. In four year's time the festival has donated more than $350,000 to local charities by sharing $1 from every ticket sold.

Tickets are $21.75 for adults 13 and up, $12.75 for children ages 4-12. Those 3 and under get in free. The Giant Snow Slide and Vixen's Zipline Experience require an additional fee.
