MINNEAPOLIS - OK, so they're not the first act to play the new U.S. Bank Stadium, but Metallica is certain to be the heaviest.
The legendary speed metal crew will play The Bank on Saturday, August 20. Avenged Sevenfold will open. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 25 at 10 a.m. , and run from $49.50 to $149.50. Taxes and other fees may apply. They are available online at www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, and in person at all Ticketmaster Outlets.
"On Saturday, August 20, 2016 we’ll be hitting the stage for the first ever rock show at the stadium as part of the opening weekend festivities featuring Luke Bryant the Friday before," read a post on the Metallica website. " Joining us that night are our friends Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat for a proper kick-off to the new football season in a new home for the Vikings."
