MINNEAPOLIS — Vampires and cyclists and spies, oh, my! That's the saying isn't it?
No?
That just must be the characters hitting the screen this weekend.
Surviving another week of bookings are "Love Lies Bleeding," "Late Night With The Devil, " and "Monkey Man," alongside sequels "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire," "Kung Fu Panda 4" and "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire."
But if you're looking for something different, you have options.
Rereleases of "Dazed and Confused," "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire," and the 45th anniversary of "Dawn of the Dead;" music-focused films such as "Pearl Jam- Dark Matter- The Global Theatrical Experience," "Bob Marley: One Love," and "Suga | Agust D Tour, D-Day The Movie;" and anime films, "Spy X Family Code: White," and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba - To The Hashira Training."
And believe it or not, the aforementioned films don't include a single new release.
Regardless of genre or who you plan to hit the theater with, there is absolutely something for everyone in Twin Cities cinema this weekend. Learn more below about some of the new films out Thursday:
“Sasquatch Sunset”
Arguably the strangest and least boisterous roles Riley Keogh and Jesse Eisenberg have in their respective filmographies, “Sasquatch Sunset” has received mixed reviews since making its way through the festival circuit. Directed by Nathan Zellner and David Zellner, the film is a quirky take on an animal documentary following probably the last living family of Sasquatches, following them for a year in the life.

“Villains Incorporated”
Focusing on the unsung hench people in a villain’s story, “Villains Incorporated” is a film that shows the treacherous journey the henchpeople we often overlook are on, in a world focusing on superheroes and competing baddies.
As you’d expect, this feature-length comedy is jam-packed with comedic talent. The film stars Colin Mochrie, Jason Gray, Matthew Meese, Mallory Everton, Billy Mann, and GloZell, and is directed and co-written by Jeremy Warner.

“The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare”
After Guy Ritchie’s foray into television, expanding his film, “The Gentleman,'' he is back on the silver screen. This is technically not an original movie as it is based on the book, “Churchill's Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII,” by Damien Lewis, however, “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” couldn’t not be talked about.
With Rory Kinnear starring as Winston Churchill and Henry Cavill leading the group behind enemy lines, the film tells the story of when the British military recruited a group of highly skilled soldiers to strike against the Germans in World War II.
The film is an action-packed, star-studded film that many can’t wait to lay eyes on. Also starring Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
