Justin Timberlake announces upcoming Minnesota tour stop

The multi-platform star added nine shows to the world tour, including stops in the Twin Cities, Milwaukee and St. Louis.

ST PAUL, Minn. — The one-time boy band star who became a multi-media sensation is back on the road and bringing his traveling show to the Twin Cities on Halloween night. 

Justin Timberlake will take his "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour" to the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Oct. 31. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m. via Timberlake's website. Presale opportunities are available to Citi cardholders and Verizon Wireless customers

St. Paul is one of nine new shows added to the fall leg of the tour. Other stops include Milwaukee, St. Louis and Kansas City. Timberlake is promising two hours of non-stop music, including material from his sixth studio album, "Everything I Thought It Was." There will be two stages from which he will deliver hits like “My Love," “Cry Me a River," “Suit & Tie," “Rock Your Body" and “SexyBack.”

It's his first time on the road in five years. 

Justin Timberlake first gained notice as the breakout star of the boy band NSYNC, then became well known for his work as a solo artist, producer and actor. He has sold 54 million albums across the globe, along with 63 billion audio and video streams, voiced a character and contributed songs to the DreamWorks animated movie "Trolls" and earned four Emmys for appearances on NBC's Saturday Night Live.
