ST PAUL, Minn. — It has been a rocky stretch for pop giant Justin Timberlake, who announced that a handful of shows - including one set for St. Paul - have been postponed due to illness.
The former member of NSYNC said in social media posts that he hasn't been feeling well, and after consulting doctors, learned he has bronchitis and laryngitis. As a result, his concert previously scheduled for Halloween night - Oct. 31 at the Xcel Energy Center - will slide to Feb. 24, 2025.
Other shows from the "Forget Tomorrow World Tour" that are being rescheduled are in Chicago; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Detroit; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Columbus, Ohio. All of them will now take place between Feb. 14 and Feb. 27.
"Hey guys — I haven't been feeling great the last few shows and turns out I have bronchitis and laryngitis. I'm so sorry to say I do need to reschedule the next few shows from 10/23 through 11/2," Timberlake wrote in a post on social media early Tuesday evening. "Thank you for understanding — I'll make it up to you."
Xcel Energy Center says all tickets purchased for the original show are still valid. Those wanting refunds can get them via their point of purchase until Nov. 21, 2024.
Lots of tickets are still available for the show, starting at $65 on Ticketmaster.
Timberlake was previously forced to scrap some shows after being arrested on allegations of drunk driving in New York this past June. The case was settled after Timberlake reportedly pled guilty to a lesser charge.
