BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Pop superstar Katy Perry and country singer Kacey Musgraves made a special trip to Skateville in Burnsville on Thursday evening. The pair rented out the space for a private event to celebrate Musgraves' 26th birthday with friends and staff while they were in town on the eve of their concert at the Target Center.
The owner of Skateville, Jason McKenzie, says the two skated for hours and had a blast with no reported major wipe-outs on the rink.
The singers took time to take photos with Skateville staff between showing off some fancy footwork on the rink, eating cake and taking part in a limbo competition.
The two singers documented the night on their Instagram accounts.
Perry and Musgraves will perform at the Target Center on Friday, August 22 at 7:30 p.m.
