Power couples are en vogue, and Lakefront Music Fest has secured a doozy to headline the 2024 festival's rock night.
Organizers of the two-night music party on the shores of Prior Lake announced Thursday that Grammy-winning vocalist Pat Benatar and her guitar-slinging husband Neil Giraldo will take the stage on Friday, July 12. Additional artists for Rock Night will be announced in coming weeks.
Benatar ruled the charts in the 80s with songs like “We Belong,” “Invincible,” “Love Is A Battlefield,” “Promises In The Dark,” “We Live For Love,” “Heartbreaker” and “Hell Is For Children.” She and Giraldo created albums that sold more than 36 million copies while winning four consecutive Grammy awards, and are members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Lakefront Music Festival previously announced the lineup for Country Night (Saturday, July 13) which includes headliner Dierks Bentley and opening acts Elle King and Morgan Evans.
Tickets are currently on sale, running $75 per night for general admission or $100 for both nights through May 31, or until they sell out. Limited $135 Pit Passes (closer to the stage across from VIP) are available for both nights, while $250 VIP packages are only available for Friday (Rock Night). Saturday's VIP option is already sold out.
