MINNEAPOLIS — You don't need a time machine to travel back to the 80s... just pick up a ticket to a stadium show that promises to be one of the biggest of the summer.
And when we say big, it could mean attendance, or hair. That's because 'The Stadium Tour: Summer 2020' featuring Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will roll into US Bank Stadium on Saturday, June 27. The Minneapolis stop was one of seven added after the tour sold more than 700,000 tickets to the tune of $90 million in gross box office receipts.
Pre-sale tickets for the Minneapolis show are available starting January 6. Check local listings for prices and availability. The US Bank Stadium website suggests seats could run from about $126 for nose bleeds to nearly $1,000 per chair for lower level close to the stage.
“The word on the street was that fans were overly excited about this stadium tour even before it was announced ... well it’s out there now & it keeps getting bigger & bigger ... this is going to be a MONSTER of a tour!” said Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott in a released statement.
“There are not enough words to thank the three generations of fans for making this such an exciting, record breaking, historical tour with the fastest sell outs in history at these stadiums,” added Poison's Brett Michaels.
