SOMERSET, Wis. — With so-called winter temps on the rise, Minnesota music fans can be forgiven if they have summer concerts on the brain.
Add two more shows to the list, with announcements Monday of tours that will make stops in the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin.
The first is The Summer Road Trip 2024 tour, a split bill with Train and REO Speedwagon, which will take place outdoors at the Somerset Amphitheater on July 8. General admission tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 2 at LiveNation.com, with presale opportunities starting Wednesday, Jan. 31. Ticket information can be found on both the Train and REO Speedwagon websites.
Handling up warmup duties is Yacht Rock Review.
If harder, more theatrical rock is your thing, the Freaks on Parade Tour 2024 may be just the ticket. The legendary Alice Cooper is teaming up with Rob Zombie on this twin bill, along with special guests Ministry and Filter, for a show at Xcel Energy Center Aug. 25. General admission tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. via the LiveNation website. Presales begin Tuesday, Jan. 30.
