DALLAS — Editor's note: The video published above is a WFAA report about the Netflix House from June, when it was initially announced.
For those looking to enter the world of "Squid Games," "Bridgerton," "Stranger Things" and more, Galleria Dallas has just the thing for you (eventually).
Netflix announced back in June it would be opening Netflix House, a new "experiential entertainment venue" in Dallas and Philadelphia. Dallas' location will be located at Galleria Dallas and Philly's will be found at King of Prussia. Netflix's press release had the opening date slated as "2025."
Galleria Dallas officials gave a little more specific timeline than the one provided by Netflix. The Netflix House is set to open in the fall of 2025, Galleria Dallas officials told WFAA.
According to Netflix, both locations will occupy former department store locations and will have footprints of more than 100,000 square feet.
Netflix previously launched 50 immersive experiences in 25 cities, including a stageplay prequel to "Stranger Things," and a murder mystery dinner inspired by the movie "Knives Out."
Netflix House is under construction at the Galleria on the northwest side of the shopping center.
