TAYLORS FALLS, Minn. — The KARE in the Air summer series continues with a striking view of a dramatic Minnesota landscape.
KARE 11's drone swooped in on the Saint Croix River Gorge. The river is a tributary of the Mississippi and is about 169 miles long, starting in Solon Spring, Wisconsin.
The gorge itself, located by Taylors Falls, is made up of volcanic rock formed thousands of years ago.
