MINNEAPOLIS — The people have spoken.

Due to the overwhelming demand, Rage Against the Machine has added a second show on May 12 at the Target Center.

Tickets are on sale now online at TargetCenter.com, in person at the Target Center box office or by calling 888-9-AXS-TIX.

Reserved seats and general admission main floor tickets are $128. The band will be working closely with multiple charities and activist organizations throughout the tour.

Earlier this week, the band announced a reunion tour after a nine-year hiatus, including a stop at the Target Center on May 11. The demand was so high that the band added the second show.

The band will be joined by Run the Jewels (Killer Mike & El-P) for both shows.

Rage Against the Machine hasn't performed in Minneapolis since 2008 as part of a four-year reunion tour that extended to Australia, South America, Asia and Europe.

The Grammy Award-winning band formed in 1991 in Los Angeles but eventually broke up in 2000. The band rejoined for a reunion tour in 2007, which kicked off at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California.
