Sam Smith coming to the Twin Cities

ST PAUL, Minn. — Award-winning artist and songwriter Sam Smith is set to perform in the Twin Cities this summer. 

The Grammy and Oscar-winning pop star will be at Xcel Energy Center on Aug. 16 as part of their GLORIA tour. This is the artist's first North American tour since 2018, according to a press release.

Smith will be joined by guest star Jessie Rayez on the tour, who also appears on Smith fourth studio album, "Gloria." The album is set to release on Jan. 27 and includes Grammy-nominated single "Unholy."

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Jan. 13 at 9 a.m. and an exclusive pre-sale for fans will open on Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. CST. American Express cardholders have the opportunity to purchase tickets before both the pre-sale and regular sale, beginning Jan. 9 at 9 a.m. CST to Jan 12 at 10 p.m. CST.
