MINNEAPOLIS — The buffet of food, music, art and people-watching known as Taste of Minnesota will return to downtown Minneapolis this summer, promising to be bigger and better than ever.
Organizers posted on the event's Facebook page that Taste will take over Nicollet Mall on July 6 and 7 "with an expanded footprint, bringing you more fun, more art, more music, more food, and more entertainment!"
The festival is looking for artists, musicians, entertainers, restaurants, businesses, food trucks and chefs who believe it's their time to shine. Those who want to take part are asked to sign up on the Taste of Minnesota website.
Last year marked the festival's return to downtown Minneapolis for the first time in eight years.
Taste's official musical and food lineups will be announced in the coming days. To stay up to date, sign up for the festival's periodic newsletter.
